Need help and guidance?
We can’t provide guidance or advice about how to take your pension savings, but a specialist can. Get help with finding the right help and visit our Guidance and advice page.
Just to remind you why you are here - you have indicated that you are planning to move some, or all your savings into drawdown, however, you are unsure about what you want to do with this money and where you want to invest. Whilst the main benefit of a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) is to give you the flexibility to pick and manage your own investments, Investment Pathways are a simple pre-set fund strategy that aims for a specific outcome over the next 5 years.
- Only choose them based on what you want to achieve in the next five years and make sure you are comfortable with the level of investment risk.
- They don’t consider your circumstances, attitude to risk or capacity for loss.
- You're not locked in for any amount of time - you can leave the pathway if you want to, but this might affect what you get back.
- Investment Pathways are not a substitute for financial advice, and it is important to review your chosen Investment Pathway regularly, especially if your retirement goals change.
The Key Investor Information Document is provided below for each option. This will give you more information on the Investment pathway fund. Simply choose the pathway that best matches your drawdown goals and, if you're comfortable with the way it could perform, and the associated risks then take a note of the fund reference (ISIN).
Note: if you choose an investment pathway, the investment will not happen automatically, you will need to place the trade yourself. Please take a note of the fund reference / ISIN to make your investment online through the Share Dealing section of your SIPP.
